This was pretty interesting in terms of how informal it was. by that I mean that with other talks the person is talking and what they are saying they say it with confidence and as if they are speaking on a something important. By that I mean that Taika talks like you are speaking to a friend over lunch or something. He cracks jokes makes the audience laugh there's no really big important narrative that he is presenting like a life changing event.

Though he does talk a lot about creativity and what inspires him form the arts to the people who make it to even his interpretation. It felt kind of scattered, and like there was a meandering path from point to point but that was a nice thing. This also kind of showed how the idea can lead to others and in a lot of this it's kind of how I see creativity where I have a problem and how to solve it. It's also good how he shows bad ideas and how failure and how it pushes out newer better ideas.

I think my favorite line is when he talks about using bad experiences to learn and as ways of pushing your creativity forward. I actually have a long story about how I was basically talked down to by my scout master because he didn't like some recent actions I took, and he told me "I don't think you deserver this award" and it hurt me. But, instead of getting angry I merely replied with "I am sorry you feel that way". His demeaner changed after that and I grew form that experience. I really liked this ted talk.
