The Machine Stops

What did I just read?

So there's a lot to this story then first meets the eye but in all honesty it was pretty interesting in that it basically was art in of itself. the wording and language used felt almost like I was reading "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. It's also got similar elements to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick. though similar it did seem to make some interesting points on what was happening in the story and its connections without actually stating it. Though I still don't get why this is a story to be read in an art class it was still an engaging read.
